The people at Arken Zoo, the pet store chain, really do “walk their talk.” Not only do they want to make owning a pet easier and more fun, but they’ve got many four-legged “employees.” On any given day, there can be up to 15 dogs hanging around the office. According to Daniel Pettersson, Country Manager, the scenic surroundings at Frösundavik are ideal for dog walks and proved to be decisive factor in their decision to move here. Arken Zoo is bucking the current trend to cut back on the amount of office space.
Instead, they have large facilities that even includes space for a dog shower. This is partly to create the optimal conditions for physical interaction with customers. But it’s also due to an expansive growth phase as many more people have become pet owners during the pandemic. As a result, Arken Zoo will likely be able to welcome new employees soon, together with its four-legged friends. Fortunately, there’s plenty of room for all!
